Join us this Lent as Dr. Patricia Cooney Hathaway, Professor of Spirituality and Systematic Theology, explores the journey of conversion as a letting go of the false self as we discover our true self in God.
In this FREE online, self-paced course, Dr. Cooney will illustrate this journey to our true selves in God through the compelling life stories of Thomas Merton, Dorothy Day, Oscar Romero, and Etty Hillesum. Their journeys of conversion illuminate and provide guidance for our own!
Completed at your own pace, you can use this course as a Lenten study or retreat experience to grow deeper in your personal relationship with God
This FREE non-credit course is being offered online using the seminary's learning management system, Canvas. Upon signing up for the course, students will receive a username and password for accessing the online class.
The class will be conducted online giving students the freedom to engage with the material and complete course tasks around their own schedule. The class will consist of six modules which can be completed according to the individual's own pace.
