Online Self-Paced Course
$10 or Included in Your Parish's Equip Subscription
In an increasingly secularized culture, the lines around many moral issues have grown blurry beyond recognition. The Church has always stood as a mother and teacher to help guide the faithful towards righteousness. Many Catholics, however, may simply know the “rules,” but have not necessarily been exposed to the thinking and beauty inspiring what the Church teaches. We invite you to join Dr. Oana Gotia and the faculty of Sacred Heart Major Seminary for this self-paced online course, as we explore a variety of Difficult Problems in Contemporary Moral Theology and provide insights to help you and your loved ones better understand how to navigate the pressing issues of our time.
This non-credit course is being offered online using the seminary's learning-management system, Canvas. Upon signing up for the course, students will receive a username and password for accessing the online class.
The class will be conducted online giving students the freedom to engage with the material and complete course tasks around their own schedule. The class will consist of six modules which can be completed according to the individual's own pace.
Each module will be hosted by Dr. Oana Gotia or feature of the esteemed faculty members of Sacred Heart Major Seminary.
Each module will include:
