Getting Started With Your Classes at Sacred Heart
Congratulations on your admission to Sacred Heart Major Seminary! We are here to help you get acclimated to the seminary, and get setup for your first semester! Scroll down and follow the steps below to:
- Login to your SHMS Google account
- Login to Canvas (our online learning portal) and complete the New Student Orientation.
Once you have finished these steps, the New Student Orientation will show you how to register for classes, and all of the other steps you need to take to get started. It is important to complete your New Student Orientation as soon as possible.

Step 2: Login to Canvas and Orientation
Watch the video below to locate and login to Canvas, the online learning platform for the Seminary. You will need to login to Canvas to find our New Student Orientation.
Now you are ready to continue on to Canvas to complete the New Student Orientation!
