Equip
Equip is Sacred Heart Major Seminary’s online learning platform and is open to all. Take advantage of our free courses every Advent and Lent, as well as our vibrant and growing library of theological instruction and catechist formation available at an affordable cost.
Equip Subscription Service
In order to extend its reach to more parishioners–both parish leaders and our in-the-pew Catholics–the seminary offers a subscription service to parishes and schools. This is an advantageous subscription that not only promotes further academic and spiritual formation for Catholics, but also supports the Church in Detroit, as these courses are written, filmed, and produced within the city.
As part of the Equip subscription service, parishes will have within their library all 4 pillar courses of On Fire for the Faith. This is a great savings opportunity for the parish. The subscription service provides essential content that would be more expensive to purchase individually. Regular rates for the 4 pillars of On Fire for the Faith courses cost $25 each, costing in total $100. All parishioners can utilize Equip’s library to get their staff, teachers, volunteers certified at the Initial/Catechist Level.
Along with On Fire for the Faith, there is an extensive library of theological instruction, including our Advent and Lent courses. Parishioners, parish catechists, staff, and Catholic school teachers will get access to all of Equip’s content (paid or free) for one year.
How it Works
When you sign up for the subscription service, you are given a coupon code to share with your parishioners, parish catechists, staff, and Catholic school teachers. When they hit the pay screen, they enter the coupon code and the course will be free to them.
