Unpack the richness of our Catholic faith through engaging, in-person classes just a short drive from home. Sacred Heart Major Seminary continues a partnership with Saint John Vianney Catholic Church in Shelby Township, MI to bring theology courses to your neighborhood.

When and Where are classes being held?

This semester's class, Introduction to Sacred Scripture, will be hosted by St. John Vianney on Tuesdays from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. beginning September 1, 2026 at their parish located at 54045 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Township, MI 48315.

Who should consider these classes?

These introductory, college-level courses are perfect for parish volunteers and staff, those preparing to serve in the Church, or those who have a passion for exploring the richness of our faith at a deeper level. Students in our satellite classes are people of all ages and experiences, including those who have never taken a college course, those who have not been in a classroom for years, and those who take courses all the time.
